🐓 Chicken Eggs
Our flock of heritage-breed hens roams freely across the farm from sunrise to sunset. Each dozen is hand-gathered every morning. Expect vivid yolks, firm whites and flavour that makes fried eggs a revelation.
Every egg on this page was laid this morning. Our hens, ducks and quail roam open pasture all day — no cages, no soy, no GMOs — and it shows in the yolk. Deep orange, rich and honest.
At Rural Valley Farms, our birds live as birds should: outside, on grass, chasing bugs under open sky. That life shows up in every egg — in the shell strength, the albumen clarity and that unmistakable deep-orange yolk that supermarket eggs simply cannot match.

Duck eggs are a baker's secret weapon. Larger than chicken eggs with a higher fat and protein content, they add an incomparable richness and lift to cakes, pasta dough and custards. Our Muscovy ducks forage freely alongside the hens.
Small, delicate and beautifully speckled, quail eggs are gathered in small batches every day. Soft-boil them in four minutes for an elegant appetiser, pickle them in brine, or serve them simply with flaked sea salt.
Pasture-raised hens have continuous access to open land where they eat grass, seeds and insects alongside their feed. Studies consistently show that eggs from genuinely free-ranging birds contain higher levels of omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins D and E, and beta-carotene — which is exactly what colours that yolk deep orange.
Yes. All feed provided on the farm is soy-free and non-GMO. Our chickens, ducks and quail forage naturally for much of their nutrition, supplemented only with verified clean feed. No routine antibiotics, no hormones.
We gather eggs once daily, every morning. Your order is prepared the same day and held cold for farm pickup. In most cases you will be collecting eggs that are less than 24 hours old — a freshness level simply unavailable in any grocery store.

Duck eggs have a richer, creamier flavour with a slightly stronger yolk taste. The whites are denser and the shells thicker. Many people who are sensitive to chicken eggs find duck eggs easier to digest. They are particularly prized in baking for the extra volume and tenderness they bring.
