When you order a share, we send you a cut sheet form. You tell us exactly how you want your beef prepared — we handle everything else.
Tell us which share size you want — quarter, half or whole. We check availability on the next processing run and hold your spot with a deposit.
We send you a simple form. Choose steak thickness, roast sizes, ground beef ratio, bone-in or boneless, organ meats. Your specification, not ours.
Your animal goes to our USDA-inspected facility. It hangs for 14–21 days, then gets cut, vacuum-sealed, labelled and frozen to your exact specification.
Drive out to Claysville and collect your order. Everything is boxed, frozen and ready. 3–4 weeks from processing date to pickup.
A quarter beef requires 4–5 cubic feet. A half beef needs 8–10 cubic feet. A whole beef needs 16–20 cubic feet. A dedicated chest freezer or upright freezer works best — your existing fridge freezer won't be enough for a half or whole.
Pricing varies by hanging weight and market conditions. Contact us for our current per-pound price. Most customers find our bulk pricing 20–40% below retail grass-fed beef — the saving on a half beef is usually several hundred dollars versus buying the same cuts individually.
After booking and paying your deposit, we send you a simple cut sheet form. You specify steak thickness (3/4", 1", 1.5"), roast sizes, ground beef packaging size, and any special requests. We handle everything from there.
We process approximately every 6–8 weeks. Contact us to find out when the next slot is available. Shares fill up — we recommend getting your name on the list as early as possible.
Absolutely. Many customers split a half or whole beef with a friend, neighbour or family member. Each person fills their own cut sheet and collects their own packaged order at pickup.
Yes. A deposit is required to hold your share on the processing schedule. The balance is due at pickup. The deposit is fully refundable if we are unable to fill your order on the scheduled date.
